The Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE) is a non-profit making, educational and scientific association aiming to improve patient care through the support of teaching, science, research and clinical practice in the field of cardiovascular and interventional radiology. Based in Vienna, the society represents over 10,000 members and organises the largest annual IR congress in the world. Our main mission is to provide education and training to our members to support research, to enhance patient care and to constantly improve the medical discipline of interventional radiology.

We are looking for a new team member to join our Clinical Training and Development department, an essential part of our organisation with a wide range of responsibilities. These include organising large educational scientific events as well as exclusive meetings. If you are passionate about communicating with people from all over the world, have a hands-on mentality, and are eager to learn more about clinical training and event management, this role is perfect for you.

Aufgaben
  • Assisting with the planning and execution of projects, including congresses, courses, and meetings.
  • Organisation and management of travel and hospitality
  • Administration and assistance of meetings
  • Traveling to and supporting on-site event delivery and execution
  • Supporting department heads and team members with other projects

Profil

Essential qualifications, skills and experience

  • Relevant educational background (Tourism college, university degree, etc)
  • Fluent written and spoken English (C1 level) and German (minimum B2 level)
  • Mobility to travel multiple times a year for project execution
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Customer focus, accuracy, stress resistance
  • Analytical, attention to details, accuracy, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Motivation and enthusiasm to work as part of an ambitious team, as well as having the drive and self-sufficiency to work independently

Desirable qualifications, skills and experience

  • Experience in event management/project management
  • Proficiency in Italian
