Apply & Develop Novel Data Science Techniques in Biotech!
As an engaged and application-oriented scientist, you will analyse and optimize biotechnological processes and equipment with a highly qualified and enthusiastic team. You will be in contact with local and international clients, universities, and research institutes. Moreover, you will leverage these responsibilities to improve your social and communication skill sets.
You have scientific ambitions and would like apply new tools and approaches to the field of biotechnology while increasing your industry and academic exposure. You should minimally hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) with a focus on life sciences, engineering, or mathematics. You should have at least 3 years of biotech industry experience. As the role is highly interdisciplinary, you should excel in two of three following fields: bioprocess engineering, statistical data analysis, programming/bioinformatics. You should have knowledge and experience with a standard statistical software package (e.g. JMP, Minitab) as well as Python, Java, R, or similar scientific programming languages or software. You speak business English fluently and preferably also business competent German. You must have a team-oriented disposition and should feel at home working with an interdisciplinary team (Biotechnologists, Engineers, Computer Scientists, Statisticians). You must be result oriented and highly autonomous in your work.

For legal reasons, we are obliged to inform you, that the collective bargaining minimum salary for this position is €35’868 gross yearly. Our salaries are nonetheless oriented towards market based salaries and may be significantly higher than the minimum salary.
